The Void Club: Chapter 6

You’re back for more, aren’t you? You filthy porn degenerates! Well, I’m glad to see you once more as we explore the joys of The Void Club: Chapter 6. The Void Club turned out to be a gift that keeps on giving. Each new installment so far has made me fall in love more with the series. This one is no different though it saddens me to say that the sixth chapter felt the weakest of the bunch. Perhaps it’s my growing set of expectations regarding this small online porn game. Or they simply weren’t able to keep up the pace considering all the massive improvements made in every single chapter before this one. I think it’s perfectly normal to run into a “creative block,” even when it comes to porn games. That doesn’t mean The Void Club: Chapter 6 is in any way bad. There are just a number of minor quirks that get in the way.

The journey through the Pokemon world continues. That brings more perks and some nuisances with it. The sixth chapter seems the be the one where the team dropped the ball a bit, but it’s still a fun experience and a no-brainer if you’ve played all the previous parts. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still an entertaining XXX game to play, and I wholeheartedly recommend tagging along for the entire series. However, this is the first installment in the series that felt tedious at moments. There are a couple of valid reasons for that, and I’m pretty sure it won’t happen in further sequels. For example, the way they heavily leaned into the whole Pokemon theme, being that the sixth chapter happens in a Cerulean city, is both a blessing and a curse. They tried to mimic Pokemon’s mechanics but not as successfully.

A Story Within a Story

The last time we left The Void Club, it was quite a cliffhanger. Up until Chapter 5, all the games were somewhat standalone. There was the protagonist and his trusty and busty elf sex toy, Sylvia, but all the others were on a come-and-go basis. Each installment had a couple of new babes you get to fuck, subdue to your will, and recruit to work for you in an interdimensional nightclub. If all of that sounds a bit strange, then here’s a quick rundown of the whole series, though I do recommend playing all the previous games before hopping into this one.

Anyhow, essentially, you’re tasked by a mysterious overlord to run a nightclub. The overlord gives you Sylvia a bunch of weapons, sex toys, potent tools, and an interdimensional gate to go find chicks and bring them over. So far, we’ve grabbed a plethora of breathtaking babes, all coming from your favorite mainstream video games, movies, series, and comics. There’s redhead witch hottie Triss Merigold from The Witcher series, ravishing Miranda Lawson from the Mass Effect, Invisible Girl from Fantastic Four, and many others. In the previous chapter, we were in Lavender Town, fucking the brains out of cops and nurses from the Pokemon universe.

That’s where we left off, trapped by unknown assailants. The difference between chapters 5 and 6, and the rest, is that these two are closely connected together. It’s pretty much one story split into two. We’re in the same world with a bunch of the same characters (and some new), as we’re looking for a way to escape this place while still bringing all the girls that we need. The idea is solid and serves to spice things up from the previous “one chapter, one story” formula. The execution, however, is somewhat lacking.

Porn Is Kinkier Than Ever

When it comes to adult video games and hentai porn in general, the only limits to what can happen are that of the artists’ imagination. That’s one of the main reasons why hentai is one of the biggest genres in the XXX industry and why porn games offer the experience you won’t find by merely watching porn videos. The Void Club’s premise alone gave the creators a ton of wiggle room. They can grab any character from any series and create the most perverted scenes out there. And that’s precisely what they kept doing in The Void Club: Chapter 6.

For starters, there’s the dazzling Officer Jenny, as hot as ever. There’s something about girls in uniforms, and Jenny has been in sexual fantasies of anyone watching Pokemon for years now. In the sixth chapter, we get to see her in even more action, getting railed and spit-roasted. Pink-haired Nurse Joy, on the other hand, gets a bit steamy lesbian action as Invisible Girl fondles her big, supple breasts during a particularly thorough medical exam. That’s not it, because this time, we get to enjoy that lustful redhead, Jessie, everyone’s favorite, Misty, and a bunch of other gym-leader chicks.

When you add a number of kinky Pokemon creatures into the mix and realize each of them can be used for different kinds of hardcore action, you get a whole lot to enjoy and jerk off to. After all, the game starts with you slowly inserting big Pokeballs in horny Sylvia’s ass after she talks you into it, eager to find out just how many she can fit. From there on out, it only gets more perverted. The Void Club: Chapter 6 has everything from tentacles and masturbation to pussy licking, blowjobs, lots of cum, and so on.

Fewer Innovations Than Before

One of the first things I noticed a few minutes into The Void Club: Chapter 6 was how similar it was to chapter 5. On the one hand, it’s true I was expecting even more new stuff, considering I grew used to it already. On the other, it’s not that much of a surprise, considering the fifth and the sixth installments are two peas in a pod. With that in mind, I wouldn’t criticize this game too harshly because it still has all the goodies that we’re used to. Plus, the fact that there’s so much unorthodox porn offsets the lack of innovation in the gameplay department.

Once again, we’re greeted with a map of the town (this time, it’s Cerulean City) and a bunch of different places to visit. Some are entirely inaccessible, but there’s seemingly more to do than before. The game almost turns into a puzzle as you’re trying to figure out where the missing gym leader hottie is or how to get a light source to be able to explore a dark cave. Don’t worry, though, as it all ties neatly together in a matter of minutes. I mean, the goal isn’t to confuse the player but to make them horny with all the hardcore Pokemon fucking.

The Pros and the Cons

Fewer innovations, however, brought light to a couple of key issues I’ve had with The Void Club: Chapter 6. Pokemon battles, which the devs tried hard to replicate, merely look like the ones from the mainstream games. In truth, everything is scripted and boils down to you clicking any of the given buttons to progress further. There are no stats, and nothing matters as every attack does the same damage, and it’s only there to provide the feeling of doing something. There were moments where these battles were used for comedic effect (like taking down a ton of bats the second you enter a cave), but, after the initial laugh, it became tedious doing it over and over again, especially during the replays.

Plus, there are still all the obvious flaws I’ve talked about in the reviews for previous chapters. There’s still no voice acting; the commands are sometimes on the slower side (which is all, the more critical during fake Pokemon battles), the music is still monotonous, etc. But in the end, it’s worth noting that all of these are minor grievances. Even though I feel this is the weakest installment in the series, it was still fun to play, and the porn scenes left me rock-hard nevertheless. There’s more action and more characters than ever to go down and dirty with, and I’m looking forward to a lot more sequels.

Conclusion

The Void Club: Chapter 6 feels like a break in the series, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s like the calm before the storm. The game elegantly wraps up everything that started in the fifth one and uses every opportunity to bless us with all that hardcore and naughty action. Even the writing has gotten spicier, with loads of mischievous humor sprinkled around all over the place. Plenty of chicks get to do something, and a lot of them not only strip naked but end up fucked senseless. They kept the secret scenes, adding another layer of excitement to the playthrough. The scenes you get by finding these easter eggs are more than worth it.

The game remains personally the most tedious of them all, but I see where it’s coming from. The gimmick that is Pokemon battles is not something you can have in every chapter, so they leaned heavily into it. I can respect the effort and the will to experiment. While it made the fifth chapter a more humdrum, I’d rather they keep trying new things than go stale and boring. All in all, my enthusiasm for the series hasn’t faltered, and I can’t wait to see what the next game brings!
